Pick a category and the puzzle builds an interlocking grid automatically from that theme’s word list — no clues to write, just the word list at the side. A fresh grid is generated every time you play.
Why did a word not fit in my crossword?
Because the grid is built automatically from a themed word list (not hand-designed), not every word is guaranteed to find a valid intersection — if one doesn't fit, you'll see a note above the grid, and everything else still plays normally.
How do I switch between across and down?
Click a cell once to select it in the current direction; click the same cell again to toggle between across and down when it belongs to both. Arrow keys move between cells, and typing a letter auto-advances.
