Word Search Games is designed to run entirely in your browser. There is no user account system, and puzzle generation happens on your own device — nothing about the words you enter or the puzzles you generate is sent to or stored on our servers.

What we store, and where

The site uses your browser's local storage (not cookies) to remember a small amount of information between visits, purely to make the app more convenient to use:

• Your light/dark theme preference
• Your selected language
• Your last-used puzzle settings (category, difficulty, word count, grid size)

This data stays on your own device, in your own browser. We have no access to it, it is never transmitted anywhere, and you can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

Sharing a puzzle

The "Share" feature encodes your puzzle's words, difficulty, and grid layout directly into the link itself. Nothing is uploaded to a server to make sharing work — the link contains everything needed to reproduce the puzzle.

Third-party services

The site loads the Inter typeface from Google Fonts. Loading a font from Google's servers means your browser makes a request to Google (which may see your IP address and browser details, perGoogle's own privacy policy).

We also use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site — things like which pages are viewed and how many people visit — using cookies and similar technologies. This may involve your data being processed in the United States. SeeGoogle's Privacy Policyfor details on how Google handles this data. We don't use any other analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts on this site.

Children's privacy

Because the site collects no personal information from any visitor — child or adult — there is nothing about a child user that we hold or could disclose.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes — for example, if a new feature requires collecting different data — we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date above.
